Despite this modern technology, customers still need to retrieve their own food from the tray carried by the robot once it arrives at their table. Therefore, the primary function of these robot servers is simply to transport food to the respective tables.

Upon arriving at a customer's table, the robot will greet them and ask them to take their food from the tray. Then, the customer must touch a sensor on the robot's arm to allow it to return to the waiting area before serving other customers. For the loyal readers of orangperak.com, please note that these robot servers can also speak in Cantonese and English. They will greet customers with phrases like "welcome, your food is served, enjoy your meal, I am currently operating, please place your order, and excuse me" in both languages.

A note for our Muslim readers: Nam Heong restaurant does not offer a halal menu for Muslim customers.
