Muslims in Malaysia are expected to begin fasting on March 2, 2025. The official start date for fasting across all states in Malaysia will be determined by the decree of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim following the consent of the Majesty the Rulers.

This official announcement will be broadcast via Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM), as has been the practice in previous years.
