Water Supply Disruption in Teluk Intan & Tapah Due to Pipe Installation Works
The Lembaga Air Perak Southern Region (LAWS), through its Teluk Intan and Tapah Operation Centers, has issued an official notice regarding water supply disruptions scheduled for June 24 and 25, 2025, due to 900mm raw water pipe connection works at the Bukit Temoh Water Treatment Plant.
Disruption Details
- Date: June 24, 2025 (Tuesday) to June 25, 2025 (Wednesday)
- Duration: 12:00 midnight (June 24) to 12:00 midnight (June 25) – for 24 hours.
Affected Areas
Teluk Intan Region:
The entire Teluk Intan town, including Labu Kubong, Sungai Manik, Langkap, Chui Chak, Kampung Air Hitam, Changkat Jong, Jalan Padang Tembak, Kampung Banjar, Kampung Selabak, Kampung Bahagia, Jalan Maharajalela, Batak Rabit, and surrounding areas.
Tapah Region:
The entire Tapah area, Bidor, Tapah Road, Changkat Petai, Tanjung Keramat, Air Kuning, Sungai Kroh, Kampung Tersusun Air Kuning, Chenderong Kelubi, SMTD, Jalan Temoh Station, Temoh, and nearby areas.
Instructions to Consumers
Residents in the affected areas are advised to store sufficient water to meet daily needs throughout the disruption period. LAWS apologizes for any inconvenience caused and thanks everyone for their cooperation.
