Hospital Seri Iskandar Opens Operating Theatre, Completing Regional Health Services
Hospital Seri Iskandar (HSI) marks a historic milestone with the official opening of its new operating theatre services today. This significant event was immediately highlighted by the successful completion of the first orthopaedic case, marking the beginning of a new era of specialized medicine for the local community.
The first procedure was successfully carried out with the collaboration of Dr. Hishamuddin Din, Orthopaedic & Traumatology Specialist, and JT Norhayati from Hospital Seri Manjung, who is also the Lead for the Manjung Hospital Cluster.
This success is the result of the commitment and dedication of the entire HSI staff. Heartiest congratulations and appreciation go to all the frontliners at Hospital Seri Iskandar, especially Hospital Director Dr. Ngo Siok Yung, Senior Medical Officer Dr. Iriene, Matron Norlida, and the entire workforce including nurses, assistant medical officers, and support staff who made this historic moment possible.
Gratitude is also extended to Hospital Batu Gajah for their support and sharing of valuable experience.
With the opening of this operating theatre, it is hoped that it will turn a new page in improving the quality of health services, while providing hope and significant benefits to the community of Seri Iskandar and Perak Tengah.
