Ashby Road Night Market: A New Attraction in Ipoh
The area located at the Ashby Road flats morning market site, opposite the Greentown community hall and next to Surau Al-Hijriah, will come alive with the new Ashby Road night market, opening on March 7, 2018.
It will take place every Wednesday starting as early as 3:00 PM at the aforementioned location. It seems many are already excited about the early announcement of this night market's opening, based on feedback on social media and Facebook. For the readers of orangperak.com, there will be 60 stalls selling a variety of items such as food and drinks. Not to forget, dry and wet kitchen essentials will also be available. Various types of clothing and headscarves (tudung) will be sold here. Additionally, fresh produce like fruits and vegetables will also be on sale. Hopefully, the establishment of the Ashby Road night market will boost the economy of small traders and indirectly provide options for local residents and those in the surrounding areas to purchase groceries and other necessities like food.
