Some were forced to drink soapy water until their stomachs bloated, only to have their stomachs stomped on until they died. This was a form of torture used on civilians to intimidate them into always obeying their orders. These are just a few examples and depictions of the atrocities committed by communist terrorists and why the older generation in our country despises them. The elderly who lived through that era will never be able to forget the violence perpetrated by the communist terrorists.
