Ustaz Kazim Forced to Sell Tahfiz Unit in Manjoi
Renowned preacher Datuk Mohd Kazim Elias, better known as Ustaz Kazim, has confirmed he will be selling the Al-Barakah Education Centre's Tahfiz Unit in Manjoi due to financial difficulties.
Datuk Mohd Kazim Elias, who is also the principal and founder of the Al-Barakah Education Centre, stated that his team had to make this decision after being unable to cover the administrative costs of the Tahfiz Unit any longer. According to Datuk Mohd Kazim Elias, the monthly expenses for the Al-Barakah Education Centre's Tahfiz Unit reach approximately RM150,000. This amount is required to cover the overall costs of the unit, which accommodates 100 students.
In addition to the Tahfiz Unit, the Al-Barakah Education Centre also operates the Nurul Barakah Kindergarten and Pondok studies (for adults). However, Datuk Mohd Kazim Elias clarified that he is only selling this Tahfiz Unit as advertised, and not the other units.
Ustaz Kazim is said to have made this difficult decision after carefully considering the welfare of the teachers and students. The sale is expected to help cover the administrative costs of the other two units, allowing them to continue operating as usual.
Previously, news of the sale of the Tahfiz Unit went viral on social media and was also advertised on the mudah.my website.
