Toh Paduka Raja Dato’ Kapten Mohd Daud Bin Samsudin @ Dato’ Tak Has Passed Away
With deep sadness, we announce that the late YBhg. Dato’ Kapten Mohd Daud bin Samsudin @ Dato’ Tak (Retired), who held the title of Toh Paduka Raja (Orang Besar 16), breathed his last this morning, Saturday, June 21, 2025, at approximately 8:05 AM at the age of 76.
The remains of the deceased are currently at Beacon Hospital Petaling Jaya and will be brought home to his residence at No. 12, Laluan Wira Jaya Timur 23, Taman Rapat Koperasi, Ipoh for further arrangements. The Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah, the Menteri Besar of Perak, and state dignitaries were also present to pay their final respects at his residence here.
The deceased was a prominent figure in the state of Perak and a respected member of the Perak Council of Elders (Dewan Negara Perak). His contributions to the state and the country will always be remembered.
We at Orang Perak pray that the soul of the deceased is granted forgiveness, showered with mercy, and placed among the righteous.
