The Mystery of the Haunted Old House in Lumut

If you are in Lumut, look to the left of the road near the apartments on the hill. You will clearly see an old wooden house on a vacant, dilapidated, and abandoned plot of land. To this day, there is no official report on why the house has not been demolished, but local residents claim that the house is haunted and difficult to tear down due to supernatural disturbances.

This abandoned old house was once completely unknown as it was surrounded by dense forest. The forest area was cleared by developers for construction, and once the land was cleared, this dilapidated and eerie-looking house was revealed. Even the local residents were unaware of its existence. It is unclear who owns this long-abandoned property. The area became vacant after being cleared, but the house was left standing because some claim it is difficult to demolish due to supernatural entities residing within. It is said that the backhoe engine assigned to demolish the house would suddenly die on its own, despite being in good working condition. There have also been claims of people spotting a pontianak (vampire) in the vicinity of the house.

Oil palm cultivation has been carried out in the area, yet the house remains abandoned to this day. Regardless, the story of this house remains a mystery because it has been left untouched for so long. Let us always remember that Satan is a clear and manifest enemy.
