Perhaps not many are aware of the existence of the "Floating Market" that has been operating on a lake in Pengkalan Hulu, Perak, since it opened to the public in December 2015. It is none other than Tasik Takong.
The concept of the "Floating Market" at Tasik Takong, Pengkalan Hulu, was inspired by Thai tourism products to help traders utilize the lake. As everyone is aware, all buying and selling activities here are conducted from boats.
At the same time, traders can promote local food products, traditional cakes, and handicrafts made by the local community. However, it is sad to see its current state, which can be described as "barely hanging on."
