All Perak residents should be proud to have a duck-themed holiday resort, the first of its kind in Malaysia. Trong Leisure Farm And Resort offers a holiday destination, recreational activities, water sports, fishing ponds, and the opportunity to observe duck farm operations and learn more about ducks.

Spanning approximately 70 acres, there are 10 duck shelters built, each capable of housing 6,000 ducks, and they are always full of ducks, both adult and young. The large scale of the duck farm can accommodate 60,000 ducks at any given time. The Pekin Cherry Valley duck species is the primary breed raised on this farm.

Visitors to Trong Leisure Farm And Resort are charged an entrance fee as low as RM8 (adults) and RM4 (children). With this entrance fee, you will have the opportunity to engage in interesting activities as listed below:

The history of this duck farm's opening began 20 years ago in 1997 and was shared with orangperak.com by the owner's son-in-law, Mr. Chan, on July 12, 2017, during our visit. The owner of this duck farm, Mr. Onn Beow Ghee, originally only rented a mining area filled with lakes. Later, he began to reclaim the lake area little by little using profits from his duck sales. Over time, Mr. Onn Beow Ghee purchased the entire 7-acre mining area and began reclaiming it to further expand his duck farming area. At that time, it never crossed their family's mind to open a holiday resort on their duck farm, until Mr. Onn Beow Ghee's eldest son (Mr. Onn Leng Keong) suggested it after finishing his studies in Taiwan.

Mr. Onn Beow Ghee's eldest son suggested to his father that they turn their family duck farm into a public recreation area and tourist center. He got the inspiration while studying in Taiwan because there are many duck farms in Taiwan that are used as tourist centers for the public, which indirectly benefits the community.

On July 7, 2014, the eldest son's idea was finally realized by his father, and the duck farm was opened to the public.
