The Automated Enforcement System (AES) is a road safety enforcement system that operates automatically around the clock. If the camera flashes as you pass by, be prepared to receive a summons from the JPJ at the end of the month. Don't waste your salary, as you may have to pay fines of up to RM300 for violating speed limit regulations.
AES can detect and record traffic offenses automatically using sensors and cameras installed in accident-prone areas. Summonses are issued automatically and sent directly to offenders for violations such as speeding and running red lights.
