Kampung Sitiawan: A New Destination to Visit
Located just about 5 minutes from Sitiawan town, Kampung Sitiawan remains a favorite for hardcore anglers. It is well-known among the fishing community for its boat rental services, which make it easy for them to enjoy their hobby there.
Now, local residents can come to Kampung Sitiawan to buy fresh seafood! According to entrepreneur Ahmad Fadzil Noor Mustapa, he and his brother have built a fishing platform to make it easier for people to come and buy the day's catch. This makes it convenient for the public to come down and purchase fresh seafood directly from the fishermen along the coast.
In addition to buying seafood, the two brothers also offer boat tours along the historic Sungai Dinding. By taking this river cruise, you will have the opportunity to witness the fishermen's activities firsthand and enjoy the beauty of the Sungai Dinding estuary while exploring historical sites.
Back to the anglers—there is a very popular food stall at the river estuary in the village, and you can also easily find bait, as it is widely sold there.
