Perak Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad, has called on all Muslims in the state of Perak to continue holding solat hajat in mosques and suraus as a sign of solidarity and prayer for the safety of the Palestinian people who continue to suffer due to the atrocities of the Israeli regime. This call follows the Israeli regime's action of once again violating the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, causing destruction and the loss of innocent lives.

In his speech, Datuk Seri Saarani emphasized that solat hajat should not only be performed when there is an instruction or recommendation from any party. Instead, it should be carried out continuously as a form of worship and a reflection of the Muslim community's concern for the plight of their brothers and sisters in Palestine. “We cannot just wait for instructions. Solat hajat is a form of prayer and a plea to Allah SWT to protect those who are oppressed. This is our responsibility as Muslims,” he said.

Israeli Regime Atrocities: A Continuing Humanitarian Crisis

The crisis in Gaza has entered a worse phase with the Israeli regime continuing to launch attacks on civilians. According to United Nations (UN) reports, more than 2,000 lives have been lost in the past month, including children and women.
