Banjar Community Cultural Festival in Bagan Serai
All Perak residents, especially those in Bagan Serai and Kerian District, are invited to the Popularizing Arts and Culture Program, Banjar Cultural Festival, on April 8 and 9, 2017, at Dewan Dato' Zainal Abidin Zin, Bagan Serai Mini Stadium, Perak. This program is themed around Banjar Wedding Traditions and will be held from 9 am to 11 pm with various exciting activities.

- Traditional Banjar wedding preparation customs performance
- Banjar bridal makeup demonstration by a traditional Mak Andam Banjar

- Bridal reception (Persandingan)

- Sales stalls
- Government and private agency exhibition booths
- Wedding exhibition
- Wadai Kiping demonstration
- Gotong-royong communal cooking (Gulai Kawah)

- Banjar Little Star competition
- Cute Banjar baby competition
- Lucky draw
Visitors will also be treated to an interesting Banjar Wedding Tradition ceremony on April 8, 2017. To ensure you don't miss the chance to witness this unique Banjar community tradition firsthand, visitors are encouraged to arrive before 3 pm and remain in the ceremony area until 6 pm in preparation for the Bridal Reception (Majlis Persandingan) which will be held at 8:30 pm.
All Perak residents are invited to attend in large numbers to enliven this festival, which is held in conjunction with Visit Perak Year 2017. Let's go!
