Asnaf Entrepreneur Interview Program Throughout March 2017

Announcement for all Perak residents. The Perak Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPk) is organizing interviews for a special Asnaf Economic Empowerment program at several locations throughout this March. This program aims to provide opportunities in entrepreneurship and business equipment to the poor, needy, and converts (muallaf) to generate income, improve their economic status, and eventually become successful entrepreneurs.

In 2017, MAIPk has allocated approximately RM3 million for the Asnaf Economic Empowerment Program and aims to involve 70 asnaf individuals in business to help them escape poverty. All successful program participants are expected to earn between RM2000 and RM4000 per month by running their own businesses and producing their own products.
