AKU Number Plate Tender Opened by Perak JPJ

For your information, you can now start bidding for vehicle license plates with the "AKU" series prefix issued by the Perak Road Transport Department (JPJ) from July 3, 2017, to July 18, 2017.
Mr. Mohd Zawawi Zakaria, Director of the Perak Road Transport Department (JPJ), stated that the series numbers offered to the public for the "AKU" prefix are open from 1 to 9999. It is up to the public to choose their preferred numbers for the "AKU" prefix with a registration fee of only RM10.
As before, vehicle registration series numbers are usually divided into three main categories, with values differing according to those categories.
- Highest value: 1 to 10
- Attractive numbers: 2222, 4444, 11, 12, etc.
- Popular numbers: 9090, 7070, 2266, 4400, etc.
For our loyal orangperak.com readers, the minimum price for the highest value category is RM10,000. The minimum price for the attractive numbers category is as low as RM2,000, and the minimum price for the popular numbers category is as low as RM300.
To obtain your favorite number, you must pay a registration fee of RM10 along with a 50% deposit of the bid price. If the applicant fails to meet the set conditions, the application will be rejected.
What is interesting this time is that numbers not included in any category have caught the attention and preference of the public and VIPs across Malaysia, such as AKU 8055 (AKU BOSS), AKU 1305 (AKU BOS), and AKU 805 (AKU BOS). These registration numbers refer to "AKU BOSS," which is expected to be a popular choice and will surely be highly contested.
