106 STPM 2024 Students in Perak Achieve Excellent Results
A total of 106 Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) 2024 candidates in Perak achieved outstanding success by obtaining a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.00, which is an A grade in all subjects taken.
Of that total, 103 students successfully achieved A's in four subjects, while three other students recorded five A's.
Perak State Education Director, Safuan Raba’ai, announced that this achievement shows a significant increase compared to the previous year, where only 82 students achieved a CGPA of 4.00 in 2023.
“The Perak state CGPA for STPM 2024 also increased to 2.85 compared to 2.83 last year. This is the highest CGPA recorded by the state of Perak since the implementation of the three-semester system in 2012,” he explained during the STPM 2024 results announcement press conference here today.
He added that out of 3,088 candidates who sat for the examination, 3,057 or 99 percent successfully achieved full passes by obtaining grades A to C.
This achievement is not only a source of pride but also proves the high commitment of students, teachers, and schools in ensuring academic excellence in the state of Perak.
With this latest record, Perak continues to maintain its position as one of the leading states in STPM-level educational performance in Malaysia.
