After this case gained renewed attention via TikTok and reports to the authorities, the Kg Rapat Police Station gave approval for the Fire Department from the Ipoh Stadium Fire Station to carry out a rescue mission. This paved the way for the immediate action many had been waiting for.

The fire team involved cut the door lock using special equipment to open a path to save the cat. However, as soon as the door was opened, the cat ran away in a panic, likely startled by the surrounding situation.

Although the cat was not caught in time, its physical condition appeared good and it was still healthy. This may be the result of the continuous efforts of feeders who tirelessly provided food even from outside the closed door.
