Raja Muda Perak Graces Iftar Ceremony with the People at Kampung Kuala Slim Mosque

On March 14, 2025, corresponding to 13 Ramadan 1446 Hijrah, HRH Raja Muda Perak, Raja Jaafar Ibni Almarhum Raja Muda Musa, graciously attended an Iftar ceremony with the people at the Kampung Kuala Slim Mosque, Slim River, Perak. His Royal Highness was welcomed with great enthusiasm and respect by YDH Toh Paduka Setia Dato Ir. Dr. Safry Kamal Bin Hj Ahmad, the Muallim District Chief, who also serves as the Chairman and Committee Member of the Kampung Kuala Slim Mosque.

His Royal Highness was accompanied by his younger brother, YM Raja Abdul Aziz Ibni Almarhum Raja Muda Musa, at the event attended by over 500 people, including department heads and members of the public. The event was not just for breaking fast, but also included congregational Maghrib prayers, dinner, Isha prayers, Tarawih prayers, and Moreh, adding to the blessings and vibrancy of the month of Ramadan.

This event marked the second stop of HRH Raja Muda Perak's tour for the Iftar with the people program in conjunction with the month of Ramadan 1446 Hijrah. His presence not only illustrates the close bond between the royalty and the people but also demonstrates his concern for the religious and social life of the local community.

Kampung Kuala Slim Mosque: A Symbol of Unity and Community Progress

The Kampung Kuala Slim Mosque, located in a hilly area, was completed in 2017 to replace the old mosque which could no longer accommodate the growing number of congregants. This mosque has become a focal point not only for local residents but also attracts congregants from surrounding areas such as Besout and beyond Slim River.

With more spacious and comfortable facilities, the Kampung Kuala Slim Mosque plays a vital role in enlivening Islamic traditions in rural areas. It serves as a center for religious, social, and educational activities, uniting people from diverse backgrounds in the spirit of Islamic brotherhood.

Ramadan: A Month to Enliven Islamic Traditions

The presence of HRH Raja Muda Perak at this Iftar ceremony is not merely a tradition, but a symbolic act in enlivening Islamic traditions in rural areas. Ramadan is a month full of blessings, where Muslims not only fast but also strengthen their relationship with Allah SWT and fellow human beings.

Events like this also serve as a platform to bring leaders closer to the people, strengthen unity, and foster the Islamic spirit within the community. May the Kampung Kuala Slim Mosque continue to be a beacon of excellence for Muslims in Slim River and its surroundings.

Conclusion

The presence of HRH Raja Muda Perak and his brother at this Iftar ceremony not only brightened the Ramadan atmosphere but also demonstrated his care and affection for the people. May such programs continue in the future, serving as a catalyst for unity and the progress of Muslims in Perak and throughout Malaysia.
