Perak Launches TVET Diploma for Huffaz: Enhancing Skills, High Impact in Islamic Tourism
The Perak State Government is pioneering a new approach to Islamic education by launching a TVET Diploma Program specifically for tahfiz graduates. This program is the first of its kind in the country, specially designed to equip huffaz with vocational skills aligned with current industry needs.
Through a strategic partnership between Yayasan Perak, Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UniRAZAK) via the UniRAZAK TVET Academy (ATUR), and support from the Perak Islamic Religious Department (JAIPk), this program has been carefully structured to ensure effectiveness and long-term impact for participants.
A total of 100 tahfiz graduates from across Perak are targeted to join this first cohort, making this program an important platform in elevating Islamic education through a modern and integrated approach.

This program also receives full support from the Perak State Government. Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad, emphasized that the implementation of this program is part of the major Malaysia TVET Corridor agenda in producing highly skilled and ethical human capital.
As an initial incentive, Yayasan Perak is offering an advance fee sponsorship of RM2,500 to every selected participant. This makes it easier for students to join the program without a heavy financial burden.
In addition to financial support, participants will also receive comprehensive guidance throughout their studies, including career counseling, structured learning, and industry exposure.
