For our loyal readers of orangperak.com, the Perak Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAiPK) was recently informed that they have been selected by the National Zakat Month (BZK) celebration committee as the recipient of the National Zakat Award (Best Innovation - Distribution) for 2017.

Therefore, this clearly shows that the zakat distribution work carried out by the Perak Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAiPK) in the state of Perak has been recognized and is indirectly the best in Malaysia! Millions of congratulations to the entire staff of the Perak Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAiPK).

It is informed that YBrs. Dr. Amiruddin Bin Muhammad, as the Chief Executive Officer of the Perak Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAiPK), will attend and receive the award, which will be presented during the National Zakat Month (BZK) celebration ceremony on November 23, 2017, and November 24, 2017.

At the same time, the Regional Asnaf Development Seminar (SPAS) will also take place and will be officiated by YB Major General (Rtd) Dato' Seri Jamil Khir Bin Haji Baharom at the Mutamar Hall, Islamic Centre, Kuala Lumpur, in collaboration with all State Islamic Religious Councils (MAIN) and Zakat Management Agencies (AMZ) throughout Malaysia.

The National Zakat Month (BZK) celebration program is organized by the Department of Waqf, Zakat and Hajj (JAWHAR) together with the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council (MAIWP), Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH), the Malaysian Islamic Economic Development Foundation (YaPEIM), and the Zakat Collection Centre (PPZ-MAIWP).
