Opening of Asia's First Animation Theme Park in Perak
After three years of construction and controversy over customer frustration on their official Facebook page, where many had paid for tickets two years ago without receiving a proper response, it raised questions at the time as to whether
the construction of Asia's First Animation Theme Park in Ipoh had stalled
? Finally, everything has been answered as Movie Animation Park Studios (MAPS) in Bandar Meru Raya has announced that they will begin operations to the public on June 26, 2017.
The opening of the Movie Animation Park Studios (MAPS) in Bandar Meru Raya is officially set to coincide with the second day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, celebrated by Muslims in our country after Ramadan. This date is expected to attract large crowds, especially those who have been eagerly awaiting the official opening of Asia's first animation theme park, particularly those who purchased tickets long ago. Movie Animation Park Studios (MAPS) had repeatedly postponed its opening to make several changes, such as the Smurfs location, to align with current structures seen in cinemas. There are still five new attractions under construction to make the theme park more attractive and safe for visitors. For your information, this park also features the tallest drop tower in Malaysia.
