Perak is famous for its waterfalls, rivers, and cascades that are worth visiting. The natural beauty of this state always attracts many visitors, both local and international.
However, there is one tourist attraction that not many people know about. Now, it is starting to become known, and more people want to come here to enjoy the stunning beauty of this cascade. It is Lata Tengkoh Penyel.
Lata Tengkoh Penyel is located within an Orang Asli village known as Kampung Pendeq, Pos Yum in the Sungai Siput district.
To reach this cascade, you need to walk for 15 to 20 minutes, covering a distance of 600 meters. The parking fee is RM10 per car and RM5 for each motorcycle.
There are several chalets made of bamboo and rattan by the local Orang Asli for visitors to use. The fee for a bamboo hut is RM60 per night, while a rattan hut is RM80 per night.
However, these huts are not equipped with electricity, and there are no shops selling food. So, make sure to bring a power bank, a flashlight, and sufficient food supplies.
This area is close to Bukit Berekeh, which is famous among those who love hiking. Naturally, a forest area far from the hustle and bustle of the city is perfect for those who want to escape the crowds and find peace of mind.
