Kinta Nature Park is Perak's Third State Park
Kinta Nature Park, which has been operating since 2017, has been recognized by the Malaysian Nature Society as a habitat for more than 150 species of water birds, based on studies conducted in early 2017.
For our loyal readers at orangperak.com, Kinta Nature Park was developed by the Perak State Development Corporation (PKNP) and is located in Batu Gajah. You might not know that this area was originally a former mining site, which was once common in Batu Gajah. Through the combined efforts and creativity of those involved in making Kinta Nature Park a success, it has finally become a new attraction in Perak, especially for those who appreciate the beauty of nature, flora, and fauna, accompanied by the chirping of birds in the evening.
Kinta Nature Park covers an area of 900 hectares. Among the water bird species that are the main attraction for visitors are the pheasant, kingfisher, woodpecker, white-breasted waterhen, moorhen, grebe, darter, egret, and many other bird species.
The Perak state government has declared and gazetted Kinta Nature Park as one of the Perak State Parks, and this has indirectly become a major tourism product for the state of Perak Darul Ridzuan.
For your information, loyal readers of orangperak.com, Kinta Nature Park, which has been gazetted as a Perak State Park, is the third after
Royal Belum
and
Pulau Sembilan
