Jom Niaga Carnival in Conjunction with SME Week 2017 in Ipoh
The Jom Niaga Carnival takes place from May 6 to 7, 2017, in conjunction with SME Week 2017 at Bulatan Amanjaya, Ipoh. The carnival is graced by special appearances from artists Awie and Faizal Ismail (FBI), as well as a lucky draw for a car and various other prizes to be won. All residents of Perak are invited to come and enliven this two-day carnival.
This carnival is organized by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry, SME Corp Malaysia, and the Perak State Government at Bulatan Amanjaya and Casuarina Hotel in Bandar Meru Jaya, Ipoh. There are approximately 50 stalls and exhibitions featuring products from Perak entrepreneurs, 20 food trucks, and various exciting activities prepared for visitors.
Among the programs and activities held at this carnival are:
- Mobile CTC (government mobile community service)
- Funfest - various programs and games for children up to university level
- MITI Day Fun Ride Bicycle
- FREE online marketing training for entrepreneurs by Google Malaysia
- Career Fair - 5,000 job opportunities
- Free business matching sessions for entrepreneurs with various major Malaysian supermarkets
- Free briefings on business loans and grants by Bank Negara Malaysia, banks, and various government agencies.
- Lypark Santai Bikerz Ipoh & motorcycle spare parts sales stalls
- Hot Wheels car racing and casual chat with Ipoh Hot Wheels enthusiasts
