HRH Raja Muda of Perak Graces Iftar at Masjid Kampung Kuchai, Lambor Kiri
Praise be to Allah, on March 24, 2025, corresponding to 23 Ramadan 1446 Hijrah, for the first time in history, the 33-year-old Masjid Baru Kampung Kuchai Lambor Kiri was selected as the host for the Perak Tengah District Iftar for the year 1446H/2025, attended by HRH Raja Muda of Perak Darul Ridzuan, Raja Jaafar Ibni Almarhum Raja Muda Musa.
HRH Raja Muda of Perak Darul Ridzuan, Raja Jaafar Ibni Almarhum Raja Muda Musa, graced the Iftar ceremony with the people held at Masjid Baru Kampung Kuchai, Lambor Kiri, Bota, Parit. His Royal Highness's presence not only enlivened the event but also demonstrated the close bond between the monarch and the people, reflecting his deep concern for the needs of Muslims in the state of Perak.
Upon his arrival, His Royal Highness was welcomed by YB Encik Khairudin Bin Abu Hanipah, Chairman of the Committee for Education, Higher Education, Youth, and Sports, representing YAB Dato’ Seri Saarani bin Mohamad, the Menteri Besar of Perak.
Also present to welcome His Royal Highness to Masjid Baru Kampung Kuchai Lambor Kiri were YB Dr. Najihatussalehah Binti Ahmad, Bota State Assemblywoman, along with YDH Toh Maharaja Indera Dr. Haji Khairil Anuar Bin Haji Arshad, Perak Tengah District Chief, YBrs Tuan Mohd Zaki Bin Abdul Rahman, Perak Tengah District Officer, YDH Supt Tuan Hafezul Helmi Bin Hamzah, Perak Tengah District Police Chief, En. Mohd Norfakhiruddin Bin Ismail, Lambor Mukim Chief, and Tn. Haji Mohd Ros Bin Haji Mohd Noor, Chairman of the Masjid Baru Kampung Kuchai Lambor Kiri Committee, along with the mosque committee members who worked tirelessly to ensure the event's success.
The event was further graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including YABhg. Jen. Dato’ Seri DiRaja Tan Sri (Dr.) Mohd. Zahidi bin Haji Zainuddin (Retired), Orang Kaya Bendahara Seri Maharaja; YB Dato Mohammad Zahir bin Dato Abdul Khalid, Speaker of the Perak State Legislative Assembly; YB Dato Ahmad Suaidi Bin Abdul Rahim, Perak State Secretary; YB Dato Azmir Shah Bin Zainal Abidin, Perak State Legal Advisor; YB Dato Mohd Zaki bin Mahyudin, Perak State Financial Officer; and YBhg. Dato Harith Fadzilah Bin Abdul Halim, Director of the Perak Islamic Religious Department (JAIPk), along with other state department heads.
This Iftar ceremony served as a symbol of unity between the monarch and the people. Approximately 700 attendees, including government officials, Perak Tengah district department heads, and local community members from all walks of life—including adults, the elderly, and children—attended this blessed event. It will be a moment long remembered by the local congregation, marking a new chapter in history as it was the first time HRH Raja Muda of Perak Darul Ridzuan graced the Masjid Baru Kampung Kuchai Lambor Kiri to break fast with the people.
The ceremony began with the recitation of holy verses from the Al-Quran by Ustaz Haji Khairul Anuar Bin Mat Isa, Perak Tengah District Religious Administrative Officer. HRH Raja Muda of Perak then broke his fast with the attendees before performing the Maghrib prayer in congregation, led by Ustaz Ibnu Abbas Bin Azizuddin, Chief Imam of the Perak Tengah District Mosque, Seri Iskandar. This was followed by a dinner, Isyak prayer, Tarawih prayer, and 'moreh' (late-night refreshments) before His Royal Highness departed.
A member of the 'Orang Perak' team, who is also a committee member of Masjid Baru Kampung Kuchai Lambor Kiri, was present at the Iftar event yesterday. May Masjid Baru Kampung Kuchai Lambor Kiri continue to flourish as a beacon of Islam in the state of Perak.
