The late Mohd Yusof bin Abdul Hamid, better known as Mr Os, was born in Kuala Kangsar on February 15, 1961. His golden era as a popular actor was between the 1980s and 1990s.

A talented artist who was a well-known comedian, actor, singer, and host in Malaysia during his prime. He is none other than the man named Mr Os, or his real name, Mohd Yusof bin Abdul Hamid.

The late Mohd Yusof bin Abdul Hamid, better known as Mr Os, was born in Kuala Kangsar on February 15, 1961. His golden era as a popular actor was between the 1980s and 1990s. A year later, in 1987, film director A. R. Badul entrusted Mr Os with the lead role in his new film titled Mr Os. If you recall, the film Mr Os tells the story of a poor young man who inherits RM1,000,000 from his grandfather.

Interestingly, Mr Os also acted in a horror film. The title of the film was Bisikan Arwah, which was an Indonesian production in 1988. It is understood that Bisikan Arwah was his first and last performance in a horror film.

In 1990, the late Mr Os was nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category at the 9th Malaysia Film Festival (FFM) for his effective portrayal of an autistic youth in the film Adik. He also won the Best Comedy Actor award twice at the FFM, specifically for the films Mr Os (1987) and Ghazal Untuk Rabiah (1997).

After acting in the film Ghazal Untuk Rabiah in 1997, Mr Os stepped away from the arts and worked as a taxi operator. In 2009, Mr Os returned to television screens as the host of the show "Apa Ke Halnya?" on TV9. On Monday, April 4, 2016, Mr Os was admitted to Selayang Hospital after complaining of pain due to the cancer he was suffering from. On Friday, April 8, 2016, Mr Os, who was 55 years old at the time, took his last breath around 3 PM. The cause of death was lung cancer.
