Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail officially took over as the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) today, succeeding Tan Sri Razarudin Husain, whose service contract has concluded.

The ceremony began with the presentation of the letter of appointment and the conferment of the Inspector-General of Police rank to Mohd Khalid, performed by Saifuddin. This was followed by the signing of the handover documents and the presentation of the baton of command, officially marking the transition of leadership within the PDRM.
