Dato Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry, the 11th Menteri Besar of Perak
The Menteri Besar of Perak Darul Ridzuan, Dato Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir, was born on March 22, 1962, on a fishing island in Perak, none other than Pulau Pangkor. Dato Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir was appointed as the 11th Menteri Besar of Perak on May 12, 2009, and has served to this day.
The spouse of the 11th Menteri Besar of Perak is Datin Seri DiRaja Saripah Zulkifli. They were married on November 1, 1987, and today, this happy couple is blessed with five children named Husna, Huda, Syifa, Munir, and Mukhlis.
This people-oriented Menteri Besar received his early education at primary and secondary schools on Pulau Pangkor. Subsequently, he continued his upper secondary education at Sekolah Menengah Bukit Gantang, Parit Buntar, located on the mainland.
Since childhood, Dato Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir has been an active individual in sports and enjoys playing football. His nickname at the time was "Pele Pangkor," referring to the legendary Brazilian footballer.
