Orang Perak extends our heartiest congratulations to the Orang Besar Jajahan of Manjung, YDh. Dato' Toh Seri Bijaya Lieutenant Colonel Dato' Shaharudin bin Haji Nazari (Retired) on his appointment to perform additional duties as the Acting Orang Besar Jajahan of Perak Tengah, effective from 9 September 2025.
This appointment is not merely a transfer of duties, but a high recognition of his stature, credibility, and dedication in driving development and maintaining harmony in the Manjung district. His vast experience and authoritative leadership, honed through a distinguished career in the military and public service, will certainly be an invaluable asset in driving progress for the Perak Tengah district.
As a respected leader who is close to the people, YDH Toh Seri Bijaya Dato' Shaharudin Nazari has contributed significantly to socio-economic development and the preservation of customs in Manjung. The success and people-friendly approach he has demonstrated are clear proof of his ability to shoulder this greater responsibility.
By taking on these additional duties, it is hoped that YDH Toh Seri Bijaya will be able to:
- Strengthen Relationships between the community, customs, and administrative institutions in both districts.
- Share Best Practices and valuable experience from Manjung to be applied in Perak Tengah, and vice versa.
- Ensure Administrative Smoothness and continuity of development in both districts under his leadership.
This appointment also reflects the trust of His Royal Highness the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-Lah, in his leadership and integrity.
