The Perak Football Association (Perak FA) is the football association representing the state of Perak Darul Ridzuan in the Malaysia League, and the team is listed among the elite group of the Malaysia League, the Malaysia Super League.
The Perak Football Association, Perak FA, was formed on the historic date of 18 April 1951 with the aim of overseeing and monitoring football activities throughout all districts in the state of Perak Darul Ridzuan. Although the association was formally established in 1951, the Perak FA football team had actually existed since 1921, when they participated in the Malaya Cup, which was then known as the HMS Malaya Cup and is now known to Malaysians as the Malaysia Cup. The football team representing the state of Perak, Perak FA, is one of the founding members of the Football Association of Malaya, having existed even before the Football Association of Malaysia since 1926.

A favorite slogan among Perak supporters is 'Kejor Yeop Kejor', which roughly translates to 'chase, brother, chase'. The slogan was adopted by the team after the Perak State Government used it during the 1996 Malaysia Games (SUKMA). In 2007, the Perak FC team introduced a song titled, 'Skor Yeop Skor'. Like other teams, the state of Perak also has a supporter's song, and its lyrics are used to boost the players' morale.
