Orang Perak Revives the Tradition of Sending Raya Cards

Orang Perak Revives the Tradition of Sending Raya Cards

In an effort to uphold a fading tradition, Orang Perak has taken the initiative today to send nearly 50 Raya cards to state dignitaries and several selected individuals. This step is not merely to enliven the atmosphere ahead of Hari Raya, but also aims to revive the noble practice of sending Raya cards, which has become increasingly marginalized in this digital era.

The tradition of sending Raya cards actually holds high sentimental value. It is not just a piece of paper, but symbolizes remembrance, appreciation, and a close bond between the sender and the recipient. According to studies, sending physical cards can increase emotional connection compared to digital messages, which are often considered more impersonal.

To encourage the community to join in reviving this tradition, Orang Perak is also offering its followers the opportunity to get Raya cards for free. Those interested only need to fill out the form at the following link: https://forms.gle/h89aXReURgorRHv88. However, card distribution is based on remaining stock availability, so make sure to act fast!

Furthermore, this initiative is in line with the blessed spirit of Ramadan. Orang Perak also wishes everyone a Happy Hari Raya Aidilfitri and a blessed fasting month. May this year bring more blessings, happiness, and success to us all.

Let us work together to revive this meaningful tradition, while fostering a spirit of community and harmony in celebrating this glorious day.
