The official announcement regarding his appointment was made via the Facebook (FB) account of the Office of HRH the Sultan of Perak Darul Ridzuan last night. According to the post, Meor Hezbullah, who previously served as the Director of the Perak Immigration Department, will perform his duties as the Comptroller of the Royal Household to Sultan Nazrin, Grade 14 (Open) on a temporary transfer basis.

The staff of the Office of HRH the Sultan of Perak Darul Ridzuan also extended a warm welcome to Meor Hezbullah, expressing their full support for him in taking on this new responsibility.
