Launch of the Travelogue Comic "Perak, Teman Datang"

The launch ceremony for the travelogue comic "Perak, Teman Datang!" took place at the 2017 Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) on May 5, 2017. The ceremony was officiated that afternoon by YB Dato' Nolee Ashilin binti Dato' Mohammed Radzi, the Perak State Executive Councillor for Tourism, Arts, Culture, Communications, and Multimedia.

The launch of this comic was held with the support and cooperation of the Perak State Ministry of Tourism and Culture.

The travelogue comic 'Perak, Teman Datang!' was created by Sylvia Chin and published by Lejen Komik. This travelogue comic is produced in two versions, in Malay and in English titled 'Perak, Here I Come'.

A 'doodle' concept has been applied in this comic, where interesting places around the state of Perak are illustrated with a unique storyline.

According to Lejen Komik, they hope that the release of this comic will open the public's eyes to explore the unique natural treasures, heritage, and culture found in the state of Perak. In conjunction with Visit Perak Year 2017, let us get this travelogue comic as a guide based on the artist's experiences and the interesting locations around the state of Perak.
