Close State-Federal Cooperation Drives Success of Perak Sejahtera 2030 Plan
Menteri Besar Dato Seri Saarani Mohamad emphasized that the strong synergy between the state and federal governments is one of the key factors in the success of the Perak Sejahtera 2030 Plan to date.
According to him, this solid collaboration has enabled the successful implementation of 108 projects and initiatives under the plan.
“This proves that the Perak Sejahtera 2030 Plan is aligned with the Malaysia Madani vision introduced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
“This synergy is clearly visible through the compatibility of leadership at both state and federal levels, as well as the commitment of various departments and agencies to complement one another.
“We want to further strengthen this cooperation to achieve even greater success,” he said while presenting the third-year progress report of the plan at the Kolej Kemahiran Tinggi Mara here yesterday.
Saarani also mentioned several creative approaches involving state and federal agencies that have enabled five high-impact projects in Perak to be executed rapidly.
Among them is the Muallim-Speed Lane initiative, which shortens the construction approval process up to the issuance of the Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) and operating licenses.
“The Kerian Green Lane adopts the principle of ‘agile regulation’ to accelerate approvals in industrial areas, while the Land Affairs Express Lane was introduced to shorten the land approval process to just one day, compared to three to six months previously.
“There is also close cooperation in the implementation of various public welfare programs, where state and federal agencies work hand-in-hand to ease the burden on those in need,” he explained.
The report highlights the state government's commitment to driving sustainable development in line with the aspirations of Perak Sejahtera 2030.
