Orang Perak Sends 240 Postcards and 100 Raya Cards for Aidilfitri 2025
Every year, as Hari Raya Aidilfitri approaches, many look forward to special moments like gathering with family, enjoying traditional delicacies, and receiving Raya cards and postcards as a token of remembrance. For loyal followers of Orang Perak, 2025 marks another special chapter in this tradition.
With deep gratitude and a spirit of kinship, Orang Perak has sent 240 postcards and 100 Raya cards to its followers. On March 23, 2025, 140 postcards and 1 Raya card—the final batch of greeting cards and postcards for this year—were sent out, specifically for those who had filled out the application form previously.
Throughout the application period, Orang Perak received 448 responses from loyal fans across various states and countries. Below is the detailed breakdown of the applications received:
- Perak - 354
- Selangor - 35
- Pulau Pinang - 10
- Kelantan - 7
- Putrajaya - 7
- Johor - 7
- Pahang - 5
- Kuala Lumpur - 5
- Negeri Sembilan - 5
- Terengganu - 3
- Melaka - 3

However, due to the limited number of Raya cards and postcards ordered, only 100 Raya cards and 240 postcards could be sent this year. Nevertheless, the Orang Perak team is very grateful for the overwhelming response from followers.
God willing, next year, efforts will be doubled to ensure more Raya cards and postcards can be sent to loyal fans. Orang Perak sent Raya cards and greeting letters to the dignitaries of Perak, while some cards were sent to Orang Perak followers, and the rest received Raya postcards.
Extraordinary Response from Across the State and Country
The response received came not only from Perak but from all over Malaysia and even neighboring countries like Singapore and Brunei. This proves that Orang Perak is not just a platform for the people of Perak, but also a medium that unites everyone in the spirit of love for history, heritage, and culture.
Perak, as a state rich in history and heritage, is always a focal point. With this encouraging response, Orang Perak is determined to continue sharing interesting stories about the state. From the majestic Kellie's Castle to the mysterious Gua Tempurung, every story shared is part of an effort to preserve the heritage of Perak.
A Note of Thanks from the Orang Perak Team
Iskandar Zulqarnain, representing other Orang Perak admins such as Freddie Aziz, Malik Sham, and Saiful Rezal, expressed his deepest gratitude for the unwavering support from the followers. 2025 marks the 9th year of Orang Perak's operation, and the enthusiasm shown by loyal fans has been the main driver to continue sharing interesting stories about Perak.
"We truly appreciate every piece of feedback and support given. Without all of you, we might not have been able to last this long. Every card and postcard sent is a symbol of our appreciation for all of you," said Iskandar.
The Tradition of Raya Cards and Postcards: A Symbol of Joy and Kinship
The tradition of sending Raya cards and postcards has existed for a long time. It is not just a piece of paper; it carries a message of love and remembrance. In this digital era, where everything can be done quickly through text messages or social media, physical Raya cards and postcards still hold high sentimental value.
For Orang Perak, sending Raya cards and postcards is a way to maintain ties with loyal fans. It is also one way to preserve old traditions in a more modern and relevant form.
Hopes for the Future
Orang Perak hopes that this tradition can be continued in the coming years. With continued support from fans, the Orang Perak team is determined to increase the number of cards and postcards sent each year. Additionally, they plan to further expand the content shared, not just about history and heritage, but also about current developments in Perak.
"We hope that Orang Perak can continue to be a platform that unites everyone, no matter where they are. May every card and postcard sent bring joy and happiness to all," added Iskandar.
Closing: Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir dan Batin
In closing, the Orang Perak team wishes Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all loyal fans. May this year's Aidilfitri bring happiness, peace, and blessings to all. Do not forget to seek forgiveness (Maaf Zahir dan Batin), as this is the best time to mend relationships and strengthen bonds.
Thank you once again for all your support. May we all continue to work together in preserving and promoting the beauty of Perak. Selamat Hari Raya!
